To provide the highest quality golf instruction and education done with integrity. Golf Defined realizes everyone’s goal is different along with everyone’s swing. Golf Defined does not believe in a “model” swing and offers its teachers the opportunity to find the best way to assist the student to their goal.
It is our philosophy to listen to the student and coordinate a plan that meets student needs on an individual basis. No matter the level of skill, from someone whom has never played or doesn’t have equipment to top level professionals let Golf Defined help you achieve the best golf of your life by designing instruction around you!
Lessons
Golf Defined has incorporated the best technology available to get you better FASTER!
We use state-of-the-art launch monitors named GC Quad to capture all the data pertinent to your improvement. This data includes Ball speed, Horizontal & vertical launch angles, Spin, Side spin, Carry distance, and Total distance. But it doesn’t stop there. It also shows, Clubhead speed, Smash factor, Angle of attack, Club path, Face angle, Loft & lie at impact, and Impact location on the clubface.
Our teaching software is fueled by Swing Catalyst. Utilizing Swing Catalyst allows Golf Defined to remain “Best in Breed” when it comes to getting people better at golf. With Camera frame rates up to 290 FPS (top in the industry) we are able to see precisely what is happening in the swing regarding both the body and the club itself.
Have you ever heard “Use the ground for leverage”, or the term “weight transfer”? Golf Defined has the use of balance plates. Balance plates show Pressure distribution, Center of Pressure (CoP), Detailed foot pressure distribution, CoP patterns, and Video synchronization.

Facility
Golf Defined is located in the heart of Tysons between Tysons Galleria and The Boro. We are inside the Sport and Health Club at 8250 Greensboro Dr. McLean, VA.
From the moment you enter the lobby, you will notice an elegance unparalleled in today’s instruction facilities. With a 70” television showcasing the greatest moments in golf, warm lighting, complimentary specialty coffees, and a friendly Golf Professional there to greet you.
You’ll notice the barnyard doors creating a stress-free practice environment creating complete privacy. The natural wood surroundings giving you the feel of a natural surrounding.
The Hall of Champions gets its name from the photography on the walls depicting champions of their game. Not just golf personalities, but champions from all things competitive. You see, Golf Defined brings all aspects of encouragement and inspiration from all venues. Just because you’re a golfer doesn’t mean you can’t seek inspiration from someone outside the world of golf.
Inside the Hall of Champions sits our putting green. A freshly laid putting surface and leveled-out base allow you to work confidently on your putting skills.
Just past the Hall of Champions is the “Bunker Bay”. This is a fantastic bay with a bunker (sand trap) built right in it. That’s right! you can now practice your bunker game year-round and in a climate-controlled environment.
